They had the opportunity to interact with clinicians who manage patients with muscle and joint problems, researchers who search for the best evidence to underpin clinical care and Clinical Champions who try to embed the best evidence into practice across Staffordshire.
They reflected on their experience and suggested that the interactions of the multidisciplinary team was fantastic to witness. Also the joint appointments between MPFT and Keele University and the benefits that these bring.
Hanniel, the Physiotherapist said he was inspired to see the role of the Extended Scope Practitioners across the organisation and what extension of role means to patients here in Staffordshire.
They will be taking their experiences back to help redesign services in Singapore and the Trust looks forward to continuing to work with them on this project.
