Making a Purchase
How do you place an order?
Through the service either via a face-to-face appointment or email. Please see purchased prescription leaflet or visit our website https://www.mpft.nhs.uk/services/podiatry-children for details and information for how patients can purchase orthotics/insoles.
How long will it take?
Following successful payment, items will be manufactured and dispatched within 5-7 working days. If there are any delays to this, you will be notified.
When can an order be placed?
Orders for purchased prescriptions can be placed in clinic or by email. For a patient to be able to purchase a pair of orthotics/ insoles they will need to have a current NHS Prescription that has recently been reviewed by one of the clinicians and is effective and suitable for your child. If you choose to order by email this needs to be done within 4 weeks of your most recent appointment. This is to ensure the orthotic/insoles still fit and your child and their prescription has recently been checked to confirm this
How will my order be dispatched?
Packages will be dispatched via Tracked 2nd Class Royal Mail post. If you have not received your order within 10 working days after making successful payment, please get in touch with the team by email – paediatricpodiatry@mpft.nhs.uk
