The service is available to children and young people aged 0 to 18 years of age who are registered with a GP associated in South Staffordshire, and who have a lower limb condition that is causing pain or compromising function.
Referrals will only be accepted form the following locations:
- Stafford and Surrounds Integrated Care Board
- Cannock Chase Integrated Care Board
- Lichfield, Burntwood and Tamworth
- South-east Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula Integrated Care Board
- Out of area referrals are accepted based on specific need
Please note we do not accept self-referrals, if received these referrals will be rejected at triage.
The Paediatric Podiatry Service only accepts referrals from medical professionals, which include but are not exclusive to:
- GP's
- Consultants
- Allied Healthcare Professionals
- Health Visitors
- School Nurses
- Acute and Community Paediatric health services
