Congratulations to Hannah Thompson, one of our Youth Participation Workers, who was runner up in Good Morning Britain’s Health Star Awards. With over 1000 nominations received in the Children’s Category, this was a fantastic achievement.
The old gates made young people feel as if they were walking into a prison. So we got a group of young people and a professional artist to re-create the gates to fit the nature theme of Holly Lodge
– Here is the result!
Arts for Health were asked to assist with implementing the new acoustic panels which were installed in October on Brocton Ward following a recommendation by the CQC.
Some of the panels are plain white so as not to detract from existing artwork, while up in the atrium we drew inspiration from the beach scene collaged mural which was created by service users earlier in the year.
We had a wonderful celebration of the new Trust Art Exhibition on the 26th of October 2016. It was a lovely event with live music from Ash Wall and a great turnout from this year’s artists coming to see their work.
This was a fantastic event on October 1st 2015 at the Learning Centre in Stafford, with representatives from around the region: clinicians, commissioners, artists, musicians, arts organisations, third sector organisations and service users and carers.
