Oncology

Our service is aimed at supporting patients from South Staffordshire who have been diagnosed with cancer and are receiving treatment from University Hospital of North Midlands. One to one therapy sessions are provided, aimed at giving a range of interventions for peoples needs. This includes work around emotional support, self-care, body-image, anxiety, low mood and trauma.

We aim to help people at all stages: from initial diagnosis, through treatment and then post-treatment, recognising each of these can come with different difficulties and challenges. Unfortunately we cannot provide support to relatives of patients, though joint sessions can be offered where needed.
