Healthwatch Telford and Wrekin (HWT&W) is the independent consumer champion created to gather and represent the views of the public in Telford and Wrekin area. We play a role at local and national levels, to make sure that your experiences of health and social care are taken into account by the service providers.
We will be holding our next public meeting in Newport and we are currently inviting people to attend. The meeting will be held on:
Monday 16th March, 6pm-8pm, at The Hub, 139 High Street, Newport, TF10 7BT
We have a presentation from Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Partnership and the work they do. They will also talk about the recent changes that have resulted from the abolition of Children’s’ Safeguarding Boards. We also have a representation about the Wellbeing Independence Partnership Telford and Wrekin and the services they offer.
We have a limited amount of space but we will have a small number of information tables representing: Citizen Advice - Telford and the Wrekin; Primary Care Wellbeing Service; Salute; Community Leaning and Employment, Education and Skills; Live Well Telford to name a few. We have two spaces left for any local organisation concerning Health and Social Care services.
