Stafford Borough Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Ray Barron and Councillor Mrs Jenny Barron were among over 400 people who attended Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Festival and Annual Members’ Meeting last week.

The event looked to celebrate the care the Trust provides, with stands and activities illustrating some of the many services offered to the people of Staffordshire, Shropshire and beyond.

The theme of the day was the Trust’s three values, People, Empowerment and Partnership and how everyone is working together to make life better for our communities.

Colleagues also took the opportunity to mark NHS70 with afternoon tea and a display of photos and items from local health service history. Visitors to the event were invited to contribute to a virtual museum by telling their stories on memory bunting and bringing along their own mementoes and artefact.

Martin Gower, Chairman of MPFT said “This was a really vibrant and engaging event and was a great opportunity for colleagues to come together and demonstrate how we are working together to improve the care we can offer to local people by integrating and streamlining our services”.
